Alumna takes part in Coppa Trek challenge

Alex is standing sideways on a mountain wearing a wooly hat. She is pulling her hat down with her hands and there is blue sky and hills in the background.

In June, Alex Ball (Social Psychology 2016) will take on a 100km trek over 5 days in the Isle of Skye in aid of a breast cancer awareness charity, CoppaFeel!.

One of Alex’s closest friends developed breast cancer in her early 20’s so it has always been at the forefront of her mind. Her friend is now on track to qualify as a nurse and is an inspiration to Alex.

Alex works with students at the University of Sheffield, the demographic that CoppaFeel! aims to educate, encourage and empower. This is another significant reason she is taking part in the walk.
