Join the Alumni Women’s Network

An alumna is in the centre of the image smiling. Others are looking towards her and more people are in the background.

For International Women’s Day on 8 March, we’re encouraging you to become part of a growing community of alumnae led by volunteers working together to promote, support and inspire Loughborough alumni.

The group has been set up to encourage alumnae to share stories, job opportunities, ideas, and to support one another. It is open to women of all ages and backgrounds and is a great opportunity to mentor, be mentored, and make connections.

The group is being led by Alumni Advisory Board member Emma Barrat (Sociology 2001) alongside alumnae Sally-Ann Hibberd (Civil Engineering 1981), Rebecca Hibberd (Industrial Design and Technology 2018), and university Visiting Member, Dr Jo Jennings.

Talking about the group, Emma said:

"Building a community of women who all studied at Loughborough is about providing a valuable network of and for our alumnae. It’s also about creating an abundance of opportunities for its members and for the wider university and we are excited to see it grow."
