17. Use of Board Intelligence for Committees

Board Intelligence (BI) is reporting software and a board portal that is used for some formal Committees, usually only those that have Council lay member representation.

17.1 Support

Internal support for Board Intelligence is provided by Academic Registry, please contact Luke l.vulpiani@lboro.ac.uk, or Kyla k.sala@lboro.ac.uk.

The Strategic Planning Team also manage some Committees in BI and Amanda Silverwood can be contacted for support a.silverwood@lboro.ac.uk.

17.2 Secretary Responsibility and Member Access

The Committee Secretary is responsible for managing the relevant Committee Shelf on BI.

Please let us know if the membership of your committee changes so we can keep Board Intelligence access up to date. If you have a new committee member who does not use Board Intelligence we will need to register them on the system and send them some information which allows them to set a password for access.

17.3 Technical Support

Board Intelligence have a 24/7 service for technical support. The support service is normally very quick and responsive.

The Board Intelligence website provides comprehensive training and how-to articles.
