Research and expertise
My research focuses on the AI-driven design and optimisation of novel Cold-Formed Steel (CFS) structures. I am also working on Finite Element (FE) modelling and analysis of CFS structural systems to evaluate their buckling behaviour.
My research interests include, but are not limited to:
- Application of Artificial Intelligence in Structural Engineering
- Performance-Based Design of CFS Structures
- Experimental and Numerical Analysis of Structural Components
Current research activity
- Performance-Based Design and Optimisation of Cold-Formed Steel Structures
Teaching
I contribute to learning and teaching activities across the Schools programmes including:
Undergraduate
- Structures and Materials (CVA 137)
Profile
I graduated in Structural Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic) in 2023. During my master's program, I developed both experimental and numerical skills to evaluate the response of structures under various loading conditions.
In October 2024, I joined the School of Architecture, Building, and Civil Engineering at Loughborough University, where I am focusing on applying my expertise to gain a deep understanding of the behaviour of Cold-Formed Steel (CFS) structures.
