Research and expertise
My research focuses on integrating physics-based approaches and artificial intelligence (AI) techniques to advance flood modeling frameworks.
By developing innovative and practical solutions, my work aims to support broader efforts in flood risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and resilience planning.
Profile
I am a PhD researcher in the Water Engineering research group and a fellow of the UNESCO Chair in Informatics and Multi-hazard Risk Reduction (UNESCO-IMRR). I am supervised by Professor Qiuhua Liang and Dr. Huili Chen.
Before joining Loughborough University in January 2024, I obtained my BEng from Harbin Engineering University (September 2016 – June 2020) and my MSc from Zhejiang University (September 2020 – June 2023).
