Background:
Mo attained his BSc and MSc in China. He attained his PhD at Lancaster University from the School of Physics and Chemistry. He worked at Guangzhou Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences as an Assistant Professor and then at Case Western Reserve University in the USA as a Research Assistant. Mo joined Loughborough University as a Research Associate/Research Fellow, and then progressed to Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Reader and Professor.
