Yushu Wang

Before beginning my PhD in 2024, I completed both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Early Childhood Education in China. My academic and work experience have consistently focused on early mathematics education, where I am very interested in how young children learn foundational mathematical concepts.

I am particularly interested in how young children develop early mathematics concepts and how to help them understand math concepts through developmentally appropriate and engaging methods. 

My doctoral research focuses on the effective use of early math storybooks as learning tools to promote early math development.
