Growth functions in PSL(2,Z)-dynamics
Sasha Veselov (Loughborough)
I will discuss the growth in multi-valued dynamics in the special case of PSL(2,Z)-actions. The main object will be the Lyapunov function, describing the growth of Markov numbers realised on the Conway topograph. I will discuss also the properties of the related Fock function and Federer-Gromov stable norm on the homology of the two-dimensional torus.
The talk is based on joint works with K. Spalding and A. Sorrentino.
