Conversations on: Family Leave - Shared experiences and policy

About this event

The Working Parents and Carers Network will be holding their next virtual session on Thursday 27 March 12.30pm-1.30pm, focussing on the topic of family leave, and all are welcome to attend.

Previous sessions have included focussed conversations around parental, and carers leave, and this next session will delve deeper into shared experiences from colleagues on adoption, fertility treatment, shared parental leave, and returning to work after leave. There will also be the opportunity to hear from Matt Hammonds, Director of HR and Veronica Moore, Director of EDI Services.

The aim of the Working Parents and Carers Network virtual sessions is to raise knowledge around parental and caring responsibilities and create a safe environment for peer-to-peer support and experience sharing. The overarching goal is to help develop a more inclusive environment where people have opportunity to discuss their lived realities and for others to learn more about the lived realities of various groups within the Loughborough community.

Booking information

No pre-booking required and open to all members of the Loughborough staff community. (You don’t have to be a member of the Working Parents and Carers Network to attend. Similarly, you don’t have to have any caring responsibilities to attend, just an interest in expanding understanding of the topic.) Note: Sessions are informal, please feel free to join with your lunch or a cuppa!
