The IAS will be hosting an IAS Friends and Fellows Coffee Morning, where they will welcome current IAS Residential Fellows Associate Professor Cecilia González Tokman and Professor Jeffrey A. Nittrouer, Open Programme Fellows Professor Bruno Charbonneau, Ms Ananya Bhattacharya, Dr Carmen Pérez González, Externally Funded Fellow Dr Vinícius Teixeira Pinto and welcome back an Alumni IAS Fellow from the 2023-24 academic year, Dr Yolandi Burger.

    Supreme Court ruling: Update on practical implications for staff, students and visitors to campus accessing toilet facilities

    Following the UK Supreme Court ruling that in the Equality Act 2010 ‘sex’ means biological sex and as such, workplaces need to provide single sex toilet facilities. The EHRC has provided interim guidance that organisations should continue to adhere to the Equality Act 2010 and ensure protection for all protected characteristics, including trans and non-binary people.
