LGBT Comic Book History Month

About this event

Matt Staples, IT Services, will present an in-depth look into over 100 years of LGBT themes in comic books. They will be looking into the creators, characters and trends that's shaped LGBT comic book history. From the self-censorship era of the Comics Code Authority to the underground 'Gay Comix' scene to present day LGBT webcomics, this is a chance to see how the medium of panels has flourished to celebrate the LGBT community.
