The Research and Innovation Office at the University will be running a briefing on 22 January, 12pm–1.30pm, to discuss the Future Leaders Fellowship call features, explain our internal selection process and hear about the experience of current fellows. This will be recorded and made available online after the event.
The UKRI Future Leader Fellowship is a prestigious funding scheme designed to support the most promising researchers and innovators in the UK. The aim of the scheme is to develop the next generation of research and innovation leaders in academia and industry. This scheme offers up to seven years of funding and support for outstanding early career researchers to pursue their research and innovation goals which tackle difficult and novel challenges.
Universities are restricted on how many candidates they can submit to the scheme, and the University is running a selection process to decide who can proceed.
Loughborough is committed to fostering an inclusive environment and strongly encourages candidates from a wide range of backgrounds and minoritised groups to apply.
We welcome applications from promising Early Career Researchers, both internal and external. If you would like to apply to be a fellow at Loughborough, please complete the Intention to Submit form by 12pm, Wednesday 5 February and complete an Expression Of Interest form for submission by 12pm, Tuesday 18 February. More information will be provided at the briefing.
If you have any questions, please contact the Fellowships Team.
