Enjoy a night of great music at Student Live Lounge

On Monday 24 March at 7.30pm, LU Arts is organising an open mic night, showcasing the best student talent from our Loughborough campus. If you enjoy live music and want to discover new artists, then come along for a laid-back evening of music and fun.

The host for this Live Lounge is current student and Arts Scholar for 2024/25 Victor Ayodele. Victor is an R&B artist, producer and singer/songwriter. He has a deep commitment to expressing his faith through music and is currently working on a Christian R&B album, set for release next year, which serves as a heartfelt reflection of his faith. Inspired by artists like Madison Ryann Ward, Sondae, and Forrest Frank, Victor seeks to blend his technical expertise with his passion for creating uplifting music that spreads love and positivity. Victor will perform on the night as well as introduction the other performers.

If you're a student and would like to perform at this event, then register your interest in advance as there are limited slots available. The event aims to celebrate the diversity of music on campus, so all genres are welcome. Due to the set up on the night, the space is only suitable for solo or small group performances. The open mic slots will be managed by host Victor Ayodele.
