Don’t miss National Theatre Live: Dr Strangelove at Cope Auditorium

The latest National Theatre Live screening will bring ‘Dr. Strangelove’ to the Cope Auditorium big screen on 27 March at 7pm. Seven-time BAFTA Award-winner Steve Coogan plays four roles in the world premiere stage adaptation of Stanley Kubrick’s comedy masterpiece.

This explosively funny satire, about a rogue U.S general who triggers a nuclear attack, is led by a world-renowned creative team including Emmy Award-winner Armando Iannucci and Olivier Award-winner Sean Foley. Dr. Strangelove was filmed live from the Noël Coward Theatre in London.

Please note that this screening will be captioned.

National Theatre Live is an opportunity for people to access top-quality London productions in their local area at a fraction of the cost. The screenings are either recorded live and screened at a later date or broadcast live on the night.

The National Theatre Live screenings are a collaboration between LU Arts and Flix Student Run Cinema.
