Profile
Jessica is a Doctoral Researcher here at Loughborough University and also Senior Clinical Lecturer and Honorary Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry at the University of Sheffield.
Her research interests are the links between oral and general health and how all healthcare professionals can collaborate to better support the public with their health. Her research explores how dental professionals can support adults living with obesity to improve their health during routine dental appointments with a brief intervention. In her clinical role as a paediatric dentist, she has experience of BMI screening, sensitive health discussions and referral to supportive healthy lifestyle services for children and young people living with obesity.
