Dr Matt Maley is a leading researcher in environmental ergonomics and physiology, specialising in how extreme conditions affect human health and performance. His work spans heat, cold, and occupational stressors, focusing on real-world applications for military personnel, emergency responders, and vulnerable populations.
His current research investigates the effects of extreme environments on both healthy individuals and at-risk populations. Accredited by the British Association of Sport and Exercise Science, Dr Maley’s research is shaping strategies to protect and enhance human performance in some of the world’s most challenging conditions.
