Title of thesis: The Pedagogy of User Experience Design
User Experience (UX) is a relatively young field. Its scholarship, tools and methods are still emerging and evolving, which create a series of challenges for design educators and educational institutions looking to meet demand for practitioners. The unique contribution of this project will be twofold: 1. Contribution to empirical knowledge of the nature of applied UX in design education and current industry practice; and 2. building pedagogic frameworks for UX education that address the needs of UX in the creative digital economy and its future innovations.
