Recruitment timeline

| Semester One begins | Last week of September |
| Placement Fair | The placement fair runs in the 2nd week of term, allowing companies and students to meet at the start of a student's placement search. |
| Mid-October | We see a large number of jobs open, across a variety of companies and disciplines. |
| Mid November | Interviews for roles that opened in September/October. |
| Christmas break | For the next academic year this is: 12 December 2025 – 5 January 2026. |
| Semester One exams | Ten days of exams in January, we would ask companies to be considerate of interviews and assessment centres at this time, as students cannot miss exams for placement interviews or assessment centres. |
| Semester Two starts on 2 February 2026 | Another round of jobs is realised as well as a very popular time for job interviews realised in December/January. |
| Easter Holiday |
Easter Holiday – 3 weeks off (4 weeks in 2025) For the next academic year, this is: 20 March 2026 – 13 April 2026. |
| Semester Two exams |
For the current academic year this is: 27 May – 18 June 2025. For the next academic year, this is: 18 May – 10 June 2026 Students cannot start a placement until after the end of Semester Two. |
