Summer accommodation

Students can apply to live in campus accommodation during the summer vacation period, with availability from July to September.

During summer vacation, the Student Accommodation Centre open a limited number of rooms in Falkner Eggington and Butler Court halls of residence for temporary accommodation.

Bookings for summer accommodation open on 6 May 2025, and rooms are available from 16 July to Friday 12 September 2025.

Students who are care leavers or are estranged from their family will be prioritised for summer vacation. We provide accommodation for care leavers and estranged students for 52 weeks, covering the whole year. Contact us by phone or email to learn more about this.

Falkner Eggington is available for students only. Butler Court is available for students and university guests.

In Falkner Eggington you will have:

  • Standard bedrooms without a wash hand basin
  • Shared bathrooms and a kitchen space with 5-7 students.

In Butler Court you will have:

  • Large en-suite bedrooms
  • Shared kitchen space with 3 other guests.

Linen included bedding, such as a sheet and duvet covers.

Please note: No towels are provided in any room type.

Please note: There will be maintenance working during the summer period at Butler Court accommodation which may cause slight noise. We aim to minimise any inconvenience this may cause.
