Ethics
As a Doctoral Researcher, you are responsible for ensuring that your research complies with the ethical standards and guidelines of the University and your discipline; this should be done in collaboration with your supervisor.
All researchers should undertake the online “Ethical Quick Test” to ensure that they consider potential ethical issues in their research and should discuss the outcome with their supervisor.
All research involving human participants will require specific ethical approval from the Ethics Approvals (Human Participants) Sub-Committee in advance of research commencing. If your study involves human participants, you should use the online ethics system, LEON, to submit an ethics review of your investigation and follow the instructions provided.
For any questions and concerns about ethical issues, please contact the Research Governance Officer, Jacqueline Green (J.A.Green@lboro.ac.uk).
