Description of the works
The existing picnic benches will be temporarily removed to allow for the installation of concrete padstones. This work is intended to prevent weed growth and provide a firm base for the benches, which are located on the lawn immediately outside the Elvyn Common Room.
The works will be carried out by operatives using general construction equipment, including a mini digger and mini excavator. Please note that, as with all construction activities, there will be some localised noise during the period of the works. The works are scheduled to last no longer than four days.
All works are external to the Elvyn Common Room and Dining Hall. Building users are requested to stay clear of any safety fencing erected in the work area and to follow any instructions given by the operatives.
