The Advance Programme

Organisational Development are delighted to announce a new development programme specifically aimed for you if you are a member of our Administrative Job family.

Advance is a highly participative modular based programme for our administrative job family which explores the University its strategy and the administrative year. It is aligned with the University values and is designed to build confidence, develop self-awareness and create authentic, responsible and collaborative staff.

Some feedback from Cohort 1:

It was a real insight into how we work.’

‘It linked all the administrators, no matter what your job title and which school or professional service.’

‘The session was full of content, and it was exhausting but good.’

Each cohort has four core face-to-face modules which participants must attend.

The programme runs twice a year to accommodate the peaks and troughs of all administrative roles.  If you are interested in attending,  you must complete an Expression of Interest Form and submit this as soon as possible.

For you to commit to attend all the modules it is important that you discuss your attendance with your manager prior to completing the form. Your managers will be required to allow you, once invited to the cohort, to be released from your daily role to attend this important development opportunity.
