Celebrate the importance of mental well-being at our University Mental Health Day event! This is your chance to connect with both internal and external support providers dedicated to promoting mental health awareness.
Explore informative stands, engage in interactive activities, and gather valuable resources to support your mental wellbeing. Whether you're seeking advice, looking to make new connections, or simply want to learn more about mental health, this event is for you!

There will be stands from:
Student Wellbeing and Inclusivity
Student Wellbeing and Inclusivity (SWAI) – SWAI have a number of specialist teams with the focus of supporting students through their time at Loughborough. You can self-refer and speak to an adviser who will help you to access the right support for you. There will be representatives from SWAI at the event ready to speak to you about wellbeing and support you can access.
LU Arts
LU Arts enriches Loughborough campus life with vibrant & inclusive arts opportunities for all. Representatives from LU arts will be present at the event to talk about Arts opportunities as well as having some creative activities to get involved in.
University Chaplaincy
Chaplaincy is at the heart of the University, inspiring thoughtfulness, enabling conversation, making connections, and celebrating the rich diversity of faith and spirituality that is found within our vibrant community. There will be someone present from the Chaplaincy to talk to you about the support they provide.

Whether you're looking to stay active, unwind, or have fun, our diverse range of activities provides something for everyone. Get involved, stay fit, and connect with the Loughborough community in a welcoming and supportive environment. Speak to one of the team at the event to find out more about getting involved.
Heads UP, Nightline and LGBT+
There will be representatives from the below groups ready to talk to you about the support they offer:
- HeadsUp is a student-led association promoting positive mental health and well-being through running events and online campaigns.
- LSU LGBT+ association are a national award winning group dedicated to creating a fun and empowering space for everyone identifying under the LGBT+ umbrella. They balance a mix of support, advocacy, education and fun through events and campaigns.
- Loughborough Nightline is a confidential, non-advisory listening and information service run for students by trained student volunteers.
NHS Talking Therapies
NHS Talking Therapies is a free and confidential Talking Therapy service designed to support individuals by providing the tools needed to get things back on track. It’s a free service. There will be a representative from Vita Minds present to speak to you and provide information on their services.
Falcon Support Services
Falcon Support Services is dedicated to empowering individuals and enhancing community well-being through tailored support and advocacy. With a focus on fostering independence and dignity, they offer a range of services designed to meet the unique needs of those we serve. Our compassionate team is committed to creating inclusive environments where everyone can thrive. Explore how we can help you or your loved ones navigate life's challenges with confidence and care. Representatives from the Community, Winter Pressures Mental Health Service, Emotional and Wellbeing Team and University Mental Health Café will be present to speak to students.
