FAQs
Are the sessions welcoming to all?
Our sessions are welcoming to all! We collaborate with the Disability Support Network (DSN) to ensure there’s something for everyone.
Student Activators are CPD-trained to adapt sessions to your needs. Just let them know if adjustments are required. All sports facilities are fully accessible, and you can explore them in advance via AccessAble.
What do I need to wear/bring?
- All you need to wear is some comfortable sports clothing and trainers.
- Equipment is provided, or if you have your own, feel free to bring it along.
Cancellation policy
If you can’t attend a booked session, please cancel at least 2 hours in advance to allow others the chance to participate.
Failure to cancel on time or not showing up will result in a £2 non-refundable cancellation fee. You’ll be notified if a fee is applied, and you won’t be able to book further sessions until it’s paid.
Thank you for your understanding!
How do I become a volunteer within the programme?
Our main volunteers are the Activators, who lead the weekly timetable activities. We also recruit enthusiastic individuals to support the programme and even take on leadership roles, such as organising festivals and one-day events.
